On WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th, STUNNA moves forward thru the month of broadcasts in 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's edition, seasoned and versatile selector KRUSER makes his debut appearance on the program, and delivers an exclusive guest mix crafted especially for this show.

Born and raised in GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN, KRUSER (aka JOSH KRUSE) started his DJ career in the year 2000, and by 2003, he'd formed the beloved LOCKED DOWN PRODUCTIONS. The production crew threw hundreds of events across the MIDWEST, with the bulk of shows being in KRUSER's home state, as well as a number of parties across the UNITED STATES. With a focus on DRUM+BASS music, KRUSER's sets have a wide range of multiple genres from being a true music enthusiast and a willingness to surprise attendees occasionally. It wasn’t until his move to MILWAUKEE that his events and DJ bookings really gained momentum, as he shared stages with PENDULUM LIVE, EL HORNET, RONI SIZE, ANDY C, GOLDIE, APHRODITE, DATSIK, and hosted the likes of Q PROJECT, JOHN B, DJ TRACE, LOXY, INK, KLUTE, A-SIDES, RAIDEN, SINISTARR, GRIDLOK, and OPTIV.

KRUSER moved to DENVER, COLORADO in 2014 to pursue his career as a restaurateur and to challenge himself personally as he put his DJ and promoter career aside to focus more on the hospitality industry. With the COVID-19 shutdown, he was able to refocus on music and really catch the bug of wanting to dive back into everything he truly loved.

'THE GREENROOM' Guest Mix from DJ SHARK - September 8, 2021

On WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th, STUNNA presents another special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. During this week's broadcast, STUNNA welcomes journeyman DRUM+BASS artist DJ SHARK to the show for an exclusive guest mix.

SHARK (ANDY Nb) grew up in a diverse suburb of HAMBURG, GERMANY, and upon watching the movie "BREAKDANCE SENSATION '84," he became enamored with breakdancing and its culture. Along with a couple of mates, he created a breakdance performance group called the B-BOYS. While no photo or video evidence of this group is known to exist, the seeds of the breakbeat were sewn in SHARK, and remains there today.

In the early '90s, SHARK was introduced to TECHNO music and this sparked an interest in DJing.  In 1996, he bought his first cheap turntables and mixer, and a year later, he was able to scrape together enough money to buy the tools he needed to mix all kinds of TECHNO music, from GABBA to HARD TRANCE, PSYCHEDELIC, to HOUSE. In 1998, a seminal event took place: while attending a rave organized by a group of friends, from a side room, SHARK overheard a different beat and rhythm, one with crazy melodies, strange noises, and a mighty buzz. Later that same year during a trip to SOUTH AMERICA, his sound palette expanded further when introduced to the LATIN rhythms in SALSA and MERENGUE.  SHARK had found his sound and a passion that continues over 20 years later.  SHARK is a bonafide DRUM+BASS head.

The year 2000 saw the SHARK rise to the surface and start to bite. He had his first gig in HAMBURGalongside THE PANACEA at HOCH10. This monthly rave was the biggest local event for DRUM+BASS in the early years. In 2001, SHARK was invited to become a regular member of the crew, and by 2002, SHARK began a monthly two hour broadcast entitled "LET'S JAM!" on a local radio station. He spread the bass gospel all over the city and gained a vast following of listeners.

In the beginning of 2008, SHARK got in touch with BASSJUNKEES, a radio station dedicated to his favourite sound: DRUM+BASS. He grabbed a slot for a show and instantly felt the same passion as he did many years ago and started his weekly live program "AMITY ISLAND." Midway through 2010, SHARK joined the DJ crew at DNBRadio for a new weekly show called "CAGEDIVING" which ran for a few years. After a brief hiatus, SHARK returned and currently spins a live weekly show on the station affectionaly named "SHARKIFY PREMIUM." He also regularly grabs the decks for renegade sessions, spinning all subgenres of DRUM+BASS, yet his real passion remains in mixing intelligent LIQUID FUNK, infused with mellow, jazzy and upbeat vibes.

Since his initial foray into D+B, SHARK has been producing his own music, and this year he felt it was time to walk out of the shadows by establishing a private label called NDNB Audio. SHARK and NDNB Audio are looking forward to releasing new tracks soon, so be on the lookout for fresh new material in 2021 and beyond.

NEW ZEALAND-based artist MidKnighT MooN (aka NICHOLAS OLIVER) originally began his path as a DJ at the age of 16, falling in love with performing and disovering new music. Always looking for something different to showcase, he dabbled between many different genres: originally starting off with HARD HOUSE, switching to BREAKBEAT, and then on to DRUM+BASS. He has supported many artists over the years including STANTON WARRIORS, MONRROE, SPECTRASOUL, FLUME, TC, JAKES, and also performed at NEW ZEALAND's largest new year's eve festival RHYTHM & VINES, where the likes of PENDULUM and MOBY performed.

Initially launching his career as a DJ in 2005, MOSCOW, RUSSIA-based producer and DJ SKILL also threw is hat into the production ring in 2012, releasing the track "ULTRA PIANO" on the LIQUID BRILLIANTS label out of RUSSIA. In 2013, he releaesd an EP on LIQUID REC FAN entitled 'REVIVAL.' That same year, he released a pair of tracks on U.S.-based STEPPING FORWARD RECORDS. COLUMBUS, OHIO native MISTER SHIFTER (aka JACK SHEETS) has been a stalwart in the UNITED STATES DRUM+BASS movement for nearly two decades. Since co-founding the production duo RANDOM MOVMENT in 2002 with close friend MIKE RICHARDS, JACK has released music on celebrated labels such as BASSBIN, INNERGROUND RECORDS, TIMELESS RECORDINGS, and BREAKBEAT SCIENCE's sister label ORGONE. RANDOM MOVMENT’s early single “STARS IN THE DARK” helped propel the duo into the international spotlight, paving the way for years of future success. MISTER SHIFTER later emerged as a solo artist in 2015, with a debut release on LIGHTLESS RECORDINGS, a label owned by FINLAND-based artist FANU. Two EPs soon followed early in his solo efforts. First, was the 'DUB ATTACK' EP on J:KENZO’s ARTIKAL MUSIC UK imprint, followed by the championed 'DREADA' EP on FLEXOUT AUDIO, which received heavy support from around the world.

Since his last appearance in 'THE GREENROOM' nearly 4 years ago, MISTER SHIFTER has continued to make waves globally, releasing music on SKELETON RECORDINGS, FLIGHT PATTERN RECORDS, and RUA SOUND sister label FOXY JANGLE. On WEDNESDAY, JULY 14th, STUNNA presents another special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's boradcast, STUNNA welcomes fellow CHICAGOAN, producer and DJ MIDWAY to the show for an exclusive guest mix.

Growing up in small town outside of GUADALAJARA, MEXICO and then moving to CHICAGO in the mid 1980s, MIDWAY (aka JUANNE aka JOSE ALVAREZ) was thrown neck deep into an underground audio landscape that was sprawling all over the city. From HOUSE to TECHNO, HIP HOP to EDM, and everything in between, music grasped its hands tightly around him and the neighborhoods of CHICAGO. Having been exposed to such an amazing early electronic dance scene and the parties that followed, MIDWAY not only became a fanatic, but he also knew he wanted to do more with music. In 1995, he started DJing, and the following year, he threw his first warehouse party. In the early 2000s, the underground scene moved into the clubs of CHICAGO's nightlife. MIDWAY found a home at the famed SMARTBAR club and ran a DRUM+BASS night for several years that brought out some of the genre's most brilliant minds and talents. Hosting headliners such as the ViRam crew, LTJ BUKEM, GOLIDE, MARKY, NOISIA, dBridge, and S.P.Y, he curated some of the first LIQUID FUNK nights with the likes of DJ LEE, NU:TONE, and LENZMAN. MIDWAY's hard work over the years has helped the D+B sound to flourish in CHICAGO and laid the groundwork for many of today's promotion crews. Currently hard at work in the studio producing a wide variety of genres (including TECHNO, under his 'JUANNE' moniker), MIDWAY is also an original member of the city's PROPER DNB crew that contiues to bring music to the eager masses on a weekly basis.

UK-based DARK OPS was formed in FEBRUARY 2019 by SECTION and FLASHBACK after the success of their 'RETURN' EP on SECTION’s LOCKED UP MUSIC imprint. Soon after this release, OB1 from the REBEL MUSIC label saw a clip of their anthemic track "JUNGLE DEMON" and signed it right away, which became the title track from the debut EP on REBEL MUSIC. Despite local and global restrictions, 2020 had many highlights for DARK OPS, including several radio and club gigs in LONDON and BRIGHTON. 2021 has even more in store, including releases on SKELETON RECORDINGS, REBEL MUSIC and LOCKED UP MUSIC. With the clubs in the UK on the brink of re-opening, you can catch DARK OPS at THE CASTLE in EAST LONDON on August 7th for IKON-B’s FORMAT MUSIC imprint, as well as their new rotational residency at THE CAUSE in NORTH LONDON every other MONDAY for REBEL MUSIC.

On WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23rd, STUNNA moves deeper into the month of programs in 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's broadcast, STUNNA welcomes seasoned DJ, producer and label co-founder LYNDON JARR to the show, as he makes his debut appearance with an exclusive guest mix.

Whilst recently returned to SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, where he was born, LYNDON JARR has been based for over a decade in HONG KONG, CHINA. He is the co-founder and label manager of UNCHAINED RECORDINGS. Capturing and combining the universe of DRUM+BASS, HALFTIME, and, at times, LEFTFIELD BASS MUSIC, it is the aim of the label to move the musical landscape forward in the multi-genre battleground that is electronic music, yet with an unmistakable love of the dancefloor-moving traditions of DRUM+BASS. Within its first year, the label achieved both chart recognition and the support of industry titans such as DJ MAG, BBC 1XTRA, and NOISIA radio, to name a few.

As a producer, LYNDON's first major release, "PLAY THE TAPE" on DEEP HEADS, became an overnight success and was followed immediately by his dub-infused "WHITEBOY" on the SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS imprint. Tracks such as "JAZZMAN" and "DJANGO", from his releases on BRIGHTON's SMALL PRINT RECORDINGS, provide examples of the unique atmospheric threads wired throughout many of his productions. With further releases on THE DREAMERS, SAMSARA BEATS and 140 NINJA, LYNDON JARR's output continues to grow and evolve, spanning the sounds of dancefloor D+B to OLD SKOOL RAVE.

A veteran DJ with styles across the full spetrum of BASS MUSIC (from DRUM+BASS and HALFTIME, to 140, BROKEN TECHNO and UK FUNKY), LYNDON also performs as a live electronic music act. His more interactive outboard controller and AV sets cover very broad ground, spanning atmospheric, noise and ambient, as well as AMEN and OLD SKOOL JUNGLE with live finger drumming.

Alongside his production and DJ/performing skills, LYNDON also runs the eductions arm of UNCHAINED. His activities span producer mentoring, education workshops, masterclasses, DJ coaching, and other functions. 'THE GREENROOM' Special All-MOVING SHADOW Guest Mix by 2 BAD MICE - June 16, 2021

On WEDNESDAY, JUNE 16th, STUNNA presents another very special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's session, STUNNA welcomes legendary artists 2 BAD MICE to the program for an exclusive guest mix featuring all music from the iconic MOVING SHADOW imprint.

Formed in 1991, UK-based 2 BAD MICE are a breakbeat hardcore duo, composed of SEAN O'KEEFFE and SIMON COLEBROOKE. ROB PLAYFORD (owner of the MOVING SHADOW label) was originally the third member group. After a number of successful releases that saw chart success, including "HOLD IT DOWN" and "BOMBSCARE," 2 BAD MICE stopped producing as the hardcore scene began to wane. As the new millenium dawned, original member SEAN O'KEEFFE continued to produce JUNGLE/DRUM+BASS music under the DEEP BLUE and BLACK RAIN monikers.

Fast forward to 2021, a solid 30 years since they originally formed, and 2 BAD MICE and MOVING SHADOW have remained key fixtures and revered players in what originally began as breakbeat hardcore and evolved into modern DRUM+BASS music. As a nod to the classic sounds of times past, and a keen ear to the cutting edge productions of modern artists, SEAN O'KEEFFE and SIMON COLEBROOKE launched their new OVER/SHADOW imprint in 2020. Gathering a pool of former MOVING SHADOW artists and a a healthy stable of new global talent, OVER/SHADOW have released three highly sought after vinyl and digital releases from the likes of BLAME, DOM+ROLAND, and DJ TRAX. JUNE 12, 2021 sees the label's fourth offering, in form of ASC's atmospheric two-tracker "SLOW DOWN" and "LUCID DREAMS."

On WEDNESDAY, JUNE 9th, STUNNA hosts another special edition of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's installment, veteran DJ and producer GOODFELLA makes his debut on the program and delivers an exclusive guest mix during the broadcast.

HAMBURG, GERMANY-based artist GOODFELLA began his career in the DRUM+BASS music scene in 1993. Initially a key figure in organizing successul events at venues such as MOLOTOV, PHONODROME, POWERHOUSE, and ROTE FLORA, GOODFELLA also established the revered HAFENSTRAßE event series. Since 2005, he has graced the airwaves every third Friday of the month with 'ELECTONIC JAM' on local-based FSK RADIO, and is also a resident DJ and talent booker at StrandPauli.

A versatile producer of many different musical genres, GOODFELLA has released on DRUM+BASS labels such as: TECHNIQUE RECORDINGS, KRYTIKA PRODUCTIONS, and URBAN WILDLIFE. His most recent offering, in form of the tracks "SENSEI" and "CHASER", was released last month courtesy of the INSOMNIUS MUSIC imprint. This pair of deep and dark slices of future funk are making waves this summer in DJ boxes around the globe and highlights GOODFELLA's talent in the studio domain.

'THE GREENROOM' Guest Mix from InnaSelf - June 2, 2021

On WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2nd, STUNNA launches head first into a brand new month of programs in 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's broadcast, we're treated to a return visit from one of DRUM+BASS music's finest producers, InnaSelf, as he presents a special guest mix crafted exclusively for this show.

WOLVERHAMPTON, UK'based producer and DJ InnaSelf (aka DUNCAN CORINALDI) discovered electronic music in the late '80s to early '90s as a teenager, listening to pirate radio. He began recording music and radio shows onto cassette tapes, which eventually lead to an obsession with buying vinyl. During the mid '90s, he was fortunate to own a small studio setup at home with gear based around an AKAI S950, ATARI ST and a MIDI keyboard. As the connection deepened within JUNGLE/DRUM+BASS music, DUNCAN progressively began to produce music of his own. In the year 2000, DUNCAN released his first recording on vinyl. The track was entitled "CORROSION" and was written under the THIRD ELEMENTS moniker (a collective consisting of DUNCAN, DJ NED RYDER (QUEST) and collaborator MATTHEW).

2013 saw the emergence of his new identity, InnaSelf, releasing soulful, intuitive, thoughtful music with labels such as SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS, ODYSSEY RECORDINGS, TEXTURES MUSIC, SOUL BROS. RECORDS, INFLUENZA MEDIA, CELSIUS RECORDIGS, ATMOMATIX RECORDS, CITATE FORMS, SILHOUETTE AUDIO, DNBBrazil, and LIQUID TONES. In 2014 and 2016, InnaSelf won remix competitions hosted by record labels SOUL FLEX DIGITAL and REDCLIFFE RECORDS. In 2017, InnaSelf was officially approched to remix music for vocal artist LADY EMZ. The release was named 'FOUR-BIDDEN REMIXED' and was released on CONFUNKTION RECORDS. The second remix was a release alongside HumaNature of D+B artists Mode:Funktion, entitled "SO LONG" (THE REMIXES) on the label C RECORDINGS imprint.

In NOVEMBER 2018, InnaSelf released his debut LP 'JOURNEY HOME' on SMOOTH N GROOVE RECORDS. The album managed to break the top 10, peaking at position 9 in the JUNO DOWNLOAD charts. Limited edition CD versions of 'JOURNEY HOME' are available via InnaSelf's BANDCAMP page. Alongside producing solo tracks, InnaSelf has also collaborated musically with artists such as GREEKBOY, BASIC FORCES, FLUID FORM, SYNCLINE, DUOSCIENCE, TREMAH, CIRCLE:CIRCLE, and STUNNA (who remixed InnaSelf's track "CONCIOUSNESS" and was included on the 'JOURNEY HOME' album).

With global support of his music from the likes of RANDOM MOVEMENT, SCTOTT ALLEN, LM1, ROWPIECES, PHASE 2, TIM CANT, NELVER, DIFFERENT DRUMZ, LOGISTICS, and the BASSDRIVE Radio crew, InnaSelf continues to successfully moved forward with impeccable and memorable productions. His latest offering, the 'HIDE AWAY' EP on SMOOTH N GROOVE RECORDS is a stellar 4-track offering and lands MONDAY, MAY 31st worldwide in all fine digital retail outlets.
