On WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19th, STUNNA hosts another special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's session, STUNNA welcomes talented producer and seasoned selector HASTE to the program for his debut guest mix appearance.
Founder of RollDaBeats (the online music database and internet forum dedicated to DRUM+BASS and its various stylistic origins) and label boss of the TWILIGHT record label, UK-based artist HASTE (aka TOM JOHNSON) has been a vinyl collector and JUNGLE music fanatic since the mid 1990s. Originally cutting his teeth on LONDON pirate radio stations, the likes of RUDE FM and RUUD AWAKENING, he ditched D+B in the early 2000s, took a break from music, and has come back in full retro mode, riding the wave of the recent JUNGLE revival.
With a return to production as a solo artist on his own TWILIGHT imprint, he's been banging out modern-influenced HARDCORE and JUNGLE on the label, which has seen six vinyl and digital releases to date since its launch in late 2023. With a number of highly-lauded collaborations under his belt with the likes of DERTIE BASSETT, JULES ELIPSE, TURSIO, DROWNCAST, and LAW, HASTE is soon set to launch a new project, NATION, with longtime pal CRAGGZ (BATTERY, CRAGGZ & PARALLEL) in early 2026, on a forward thinking JUNGLE tip.
