On WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26th, STUNNA closes out another action-packed month of broadcasts in 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. During this week's session, STUNNA welcomes multi-talented producer AKURATYDE to the show for an exclusive debut guest mix.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA-based producer, DJ, label head AKURATYDE (aka DANIEL ESHLEMAN) makes music that strikes an emotional chord. Incorporating his affinity for reverb-soaked synthesizers and dreamy guitar riffs, his music is the perfect mix of melodic hooks and immersive beats. He has created something that is simultaneously raw and passion-filled, with subtle beautiful undertones that are guaranteed to move the listener.
In 2020, AKURATYDE founded the MODERN CONVENIENCES label. With previous long players released via BLU MAR TEN MUSIC and MODERN CONVENIENCES, AKURATYDE unveiled his latest album, 'INVITING CHAOS,' courtesy of BOP's genre-bending MICROFUNK label this past AUGUST. Delivering a bold and deeply personal statement with the album, AKURATYDE explores the beautiful disorder of parenthood and the emotional complexities of intentionally inviting upheaval into one's life. 'INVITING CHAOS' reframes AKURATYDE's signature sound into something brighter and more unpredictable. The LP captures an emotional truth rarely expressed in electronic music: how deeply life changes when you willingly step into the unknown.
