Originally from HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA, and now currently residing in PORTLAND, OREGON, TYLER has been surrounded with music for as long as he can remember. His journey into DRUM+BASS music began sometime around 2005, with his initial exposure to the internet radio station BASSDRIVE and its wide-reaching global community. The conglomeration of its IRC network of DJs, producers, labels, and listeners from around the world allowed TYLER to participate in the music scene before he could legally enter a club in the USA. Early D+B influences o his include the VIRGINIA-based production team STYLE CONTROL (WILL MILES, KJELL, ILL OMEN, NaCl), alongside collaborations with fellow BAY AREA producer METHOD ONE, and CHICAGO-based STUNNA. TYLER's music has seen releases over the years on labels such as DRUM AND BASS ARENA, LEVITATED, LIQUID DROPS, SANTORIN, and WESTBAY. Currently, you can find TYLER honing his multi-media skills on TWITCH.TV, where he's been building a channel focused around collaboration, performance, and education.

In this broacast, we're treated to a return visit from the PARIS, FRANCE-based DRUM+BASS producer/DJ known as TREEX, as he unveils a brand new guest mix created exclusively for this program.

Born in 1984, and raised in FRANCE, TREEX has been involved in his native country's DRUM+BASS scene for many years. Lending his hand at the organization of events and DJing with his friends from AMPLITUDE, EN2, EXPLORATION, and QUALITY LABS, TREEX threw his hat into the production ring in 2010 and began making tracks. In the time since, he's honed his sound and engineering acumen to pen original works for such labels as SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS, LUV DISASTER RECORDS, TOTAAL REZ, SOUL TRADER, LIQUID BRILLIANTS, and OFFWORLD RECORDINGS. With positive global support of his music from revered names such as TECHNIMATIC, VELOCITY, SCOTT ALLEN, LM1, MACCA, DUOSCIENCE, DJ CHAP, PHAT PLAYAZ, SALARYMAN, LOZ CONTRERAS, MISSFORTUNE, and the rest of the BASSDRIVE crew, watch out for more infectious grooves from TREEX to be revelead as we head into 2021. 'THE GREENROOM' Guest Mix from VELOCITY - November 25, 2020

On WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 25th, STUNNA closes out another action-packed month of programming in 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's broadcast, STUNNA welcomes talented producer/DJ VELOCITY into the 'GREENROOM' for his debut guest mix on the show.

TOKYO, JAPAN-based artist VELOCITY (aka TAKASHI SATO) established 7NINE PRODUCTIONS (comprised of a DJ, designer, and VJ) in 2003 to showcase his skills as a DRUM+BASS DJ. In the same year, 7NINE PRODUCTINOS launhced the NEO TOKYO D+B party "ZERO" and performed as a resident DJ at the lauded WOMB nightclub. In 2005, VELOCITY played a role in the creation of sound effects for the legendary VJ software "MOTION DIVE." In 2008, he entered and won 2nd place in the C.N.S (CDJ New Style) battle competiton organized by music industry trailblazer PIONEER, by wowing the judges with his technical mixing styles and skills.

By this time, VELOCITY's original DRUM+BASS tracks had been gaining global attention from DJs and tastemakers by the likes of A-SIDES, BAILEY, BRYAN G, COMMIX, MAKOTO, MARKY, RANDOM MOVEMENT, and BBC RADIO 1's DJ FRICTION. VELOCITY teamed up with KEY MC for the track "LADDER," which was included on fellow countryman and global producer MAKOTO's HUMAN ELEMENTS imprint, as part of the 'SOMETHING WE CAN DO' EP compilation benefitting those affected by the 2011 tsunami and earthquake. He followed this release with a flurry of successful offerings for DANNY WHEELER's W10 RECORDS, MR. JOSEPH's FIZZYBEATS label, and more solid releases on the ADVECTION, FOKUZ, HUMAN ELEMENTS, JASSTICKS, LIQUID V, and SHEER VELOCITY labels. With further new material set to drop in the near future, VELOCITY continues to move forward with his well-polished, infectiously-danceable take on the fast-paced world of D+B music.

'THE GREENROOM' Guest Mix from EUPHORICS - November 18, 2020

On WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18th, STUNNA moves deeper into this month's schedule of broadcasts in 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. During this week's show, STUNNA welcomes talented producer and DJ EUPHORICS to the show, as he delivers his debut guest mix in 'THE GREENROOM.'

Deeply immersed in the DRUM+BASS music scene for over 15 years, SERBIAN-based artist EUPHORICS (aka UNTAH SELECTA, real name: MILOS ANTIC) initially began his journey by collecting vinyl. In 2006, he made the transition to become a DJ and stepped up to the turntables to share his vision at local D+B parties. Alongside the REMINISCENCE crew, he began playing on the NU PERCETPION and DnB HREAVEN radio shows. For the next two years, he performed all throughout EUROPE, and in 2008, the DJ formerly knowas as 'UNTAH SELECTA' re-established himself as 'EUPHORICS' and began to produce his own brand of DRUM+BASSmusic.

The year 2010 saw EUPHORICS's initial viyl release, via GERMANY's SANTORIN imprint. The 12" featured EUPHORICS + JOE EASYNUTTAH's track "SMOKE," with music from U.S.-based phenom TYLER STRAUB on the flipside. Soonafter, EUPHORICS collaborated with talented, FLORIDA-based vocalist JETT on the track "AGAIN". In early 2013, he released the 'MOONSHINE' EP for the prolific LIQUID BRILLIANTS digital imrpint, gaining "TOP 20" status in the JUNO DOWNLOAD charts. In AUGUST 2013, his track "THAT STUFF" reached 2nd place in the best SERBIAN singles on the national radio station B92, as part of the 'TOGETHER' EP, which reached "TOP 10" status in the JUNO DOWNLOAD sales chart. 2014 saw the vinyl and digital release of his debut album 'MIDNIGHT MIST' (THINK DEEP RECORDINGS), garnering accolades of being one the TOP 6 best-selling DRUM+BASS albums in SERBIA, with the album's title track slotted as one of the "TOP 3" tunes on SERBIAN national radio stations. After releasing his sophomore album, 'ODYSSESY' (SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS) at the end of 2015, EUPHORICS, followed with further offerings, including an appearance on the highly-lauded 'CHRONIC ROLLERS VOL. 3' various artists compiation, with his "PUBLIC SECRET" track. In 2018, EUPHORICS returned to the revered SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS imprint to release his 3rd album, entitled 'CONTACT'. The end of 2018 also saw the release of the JAZZY single "FATHER SOUL" on the legendary DJ SS's seminal FORMATION RECORDS label. Looking ahead to 2021, EUPHORICS's tracks 'REALITY" and "DUSTY GROOVE" (alongside fellow SERBIAN producer OKEE) will be included on the upcoming 'AFTERPARTY VOL. 3' compilation on the hailed LIQUID V imprint.

EUPHORICS believes that a quality live performance must include an MC. During his storied DJ career thus far, EUPHORICS has been supported by many of them: from MC BOJAH to EDGE MC (with whom, collaborations continues to this day). EUPHORICS has performed all across EUROPE, with prominent appearances at the EXIT, HMSU, BASS SEA, and OUTLOOK festivals. Throughout the years, his well-crafted, soulful and funky tracks have seen positive DJ support from the likes of LTJ BUKEM, GROOVRIDER, BRYAN GEE, BIG BUD, FURNEY, A-SIDES, RANDOM MOVEMENT, and the BBC RADIO and BASSDRIVE RADIO crews.

Electronic music producer, DJ and podcaster SHAMANGA (aka FSTZ, and real name JJ SODERLING) has been deeply involved in the industry for well over two decades. Originally from southern CALIFORNIA, and now residing near KANSAS CITY, he made his initial mark on the local music scene with his KABLAMMO! event series. Currently, his myriad of creative projects include: SHAMANGA, FSTZ, ULTRANET, RIDDIM DANGEROUS, SUBDOMAIN RADIO, CHAKRA SCIENCE, INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF DUB, and DRUTHERS & DRIPS. He has collabroated with a talented stable of global artists including 6BLOCC, CALCULON, MC ZULU, JON 1ST, and ORKO ELOHEIM. His original tracks and collaborations have been remixed by esteemed producers, such as DJ MADD, SINISTARR, SKEPTICAL, and SURVIVAL.

The recent tracks released on VOYAGE MUSIC under the SHAMANGA alias, fall under the category of MINIMAL DRUM+BASS. The ULTRANET project, with underground HIP HOP legend and longtime collaborator ORKO ELOHEIM, is a mixed bag of sounds, ranging from HALFTIME D+B, HYBRID HIP HOP, FOOTWORK and DARK BASS.

On WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4th, STUNNA kicks off a new, action-packed month of broadcasts in 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's session, STUNNA welcomes back (after a nearly five year hiatus) gifted producer and DJ SILENCE GROOVE, as he presents a brand new guest mix during the program.

Born and bred in the Central European country of POLAND (and now based in BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA), SILENCE GROOVE's love of electronic music began at an early age when his father introduced him to the intriguing sounds of KRAFTWERK, VANGELIS, and TANGERINE DREAM. In 2010, at the age of 18, he signed his first PROGRESSIVE TRANCE EP titled 'SHINY SNOW' to UNEARTHED RECORDINGS. His initial work in the TRANCE music scene garnered rave reviews, international exposure and recognition from scene luminaries PAUL VAN DYKE, ANDY MOOR, MATT DAREY, and ARMIN VAN BUUREN.

In 2011, he was inspired by the innovative sounds of producers FUTURE ENGINEERS, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE and ELECTROSOUL SYSTEM to take his first steps into throwing his proverbial hat into the DRUM+BASS production ring. Collaborating with fellow countryman SKELETONE, the pair released their debut 'LOVE YOU LOSE' EP on the revered SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS imprint and followed up with successful offerings for the BASSDRIVE TUNES and OFFWORLD RECORDINGS music labels.

Since then, SILENCE GROOVE has continued to feature on a selection DRUM+BASS music's most prestigious labels, including HOSPITAL, INTEGRAL RECORDS, and DOC SCOTT's 31 RECORDINGS imprint. His productions reflect the influences of various electronica genres, ranging from DOWNTEMPO, AMBIENT, to TECHNO. His unique style takes inspiration from artists in the scene such as CALIBRE, COMMIX, SEBA, LOGISTICS, and TECHNICOLOUR, among others. Sustained atmospheres, wistful arrangements, minor-chord-based hypnotic hooks and intricate breakbeat work are the staples of his sound. Carefully selected organic samples and imaginative synth work are fused together to create rich soundscapes that function well both in a club and home listening setting. His latest batch of music demonstrates an accomplished understanding of the genre through its stripped back subtleties and understated intricacies.

On WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21st, STUNNA unveils another very special edition of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's session, STUNNA welcomes electronic music journeyman JAMIE MYERSON for his worlwide debut DRUM+BASS guest mix, exclusive to this broadcast.

JAMIE MYERSON's connection to DRUM+BASS music dates back to 1993 when he met DEGO of legendary REINFORCED RECORDS, and one half of the duo 4 HERO. JAMIE's first release on the label was "FIND YOURSELF," included on the prestigious 'ENFORCERS' compilation series (volumes 6 & 7). He followed his successful inaugural outing on the imprint with three more EPs under the JLM PRODUTCTIONS moniker.

Between 1995 and 1996, JAMIE released tracks, such as “MUSIC FOR THE LONELY” on SM:)LE COMMUNICATIONS, “DECISIONS DECSIONS” on CRAMMED DISC, and “REVISIONS," featured on PAUL OAKENFOLD’s 'FLOURO' compilation. In 1997, JAMIE signed with JOSH WINK and KING BRITT’s OVUM RECORDINGS label, releasing “RESCUE ME” and “THE LISTEN PROJECT." The following years would see JAMIE remixing and producing for other artists, placing music in commercials and TV shows, as well as operating a recording studio business.

Recently, JAMIE is finding new inspiration in classic DRUM+BASS sounds, releasing new music exclusively on his BANDCAMP page.

'THE GREENROOM' Guest Mix from COLOSSUS - October 14, 2020

On WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14th, STUNNA unveils another special edition of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE. In this week's installment, talented producer/DJ COLOSSUS makes his debut appearance on the show with an exclusive guest mix during the broadcast.

From a very early age, a passion for music and creativity began to shine through for UK-based artist COLOSSUS (aka TOBY TINWELL). With his musical interests leaning towards the electronic world, he began focusing his practice towards DRUM+BASS music. Shortly after leaving college, he had his first release with E-MOTION RECORDS. With the help of SENSA (one half of HYBRID MINDS), the release's title track, "UNDER THE WEATHER," was promoted by D+B giants LIQUICITY. This was the boost that COLOSSUS needed as he began to release music with labels such as SOUL DEEP EXCLUSIVES, DNBB RECORDINGS, and CELSIUS RECORDINGS.

He launched his own digital record label, RUSH RECORDS, with some local musicians, and ran the imprint for four years. During this time, he also became a resident DJ at JUNGLE JAM and OVERFLOW, where he supported artists such as BAD COMPANY UK, MICKY FINN, ANDY C, RONI SIZE, FABIO, GROOVERIDER, TECHNIMATIC, SERIAL KILLAZ, BLU MAR TEN, LENZMAN, COMMIX, HYBRID MINDS, and many more. In 2014, COLOSSUS performed at his first international shows in ANTWERP, BELGIUM, playing at the GUN AUDIO and BASS CIRCUS events alongside artists CYANTIFIC, BCEE, and LSB. The year 2015 saw D+B staple imprint HOSPITAL RECORDS release music from COLOSSUS on their “HOSPITALITY 2015” compilation and, a year later, he was also featured on the label's “WE ARE 21” various artist album.

During a brief hiatus away from producing DRUM+BASS, COLOSSUS spent time honing his craft and studying towards new horizons and possibilities in his musical career. He concentrated his studies on a masters degree in the art of integrating music with the moving image. The time away helped him to redefine and enhance his knowledge as a producer, and now, in 2020, COLOSSUS is back and hungrier than ever. With releases featured on LIQUICITY RECORDS' sister label GALACY RECORDS, autism charity label LIQUID DRUM+BASS 4 AUTISM, as well as returing back to BAY 6 RECORDINGS and SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS, COLOSSUS is set to drop his debut "THIRD FACE" album on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16th via his own BANDCAMP page. A document highlighting COLOSSUS' prowess in the studio domain, the "THIRD FACE" LP is a well-balanced aural journey showcasing this talented producer's strengths throughout the album's many moods and textures.

BRISTOL, UK-based artists JASKIN + UNEVEN have been pushing the deeper DRUM+BASS sound for a number of years. With a string of solid releases on revered labels such as KOS.MOS MUSIC, none60, OMNI MUSIC, REGRESSION MEDIA, and RONIN ORDINANCE to name a few, their fresh approach to the sound has seen positive support from many key members in the D+B scene. LONDON, ENGLAND-based music producer, DJ, and photographer MYSTIC TRIP was raised on a healthy dose of music, playing various instruments during his formative years. But one Sunday afternoon in the '90s, he was flicking through the FM radio dial and found a local pirate radio called KOOL FM. The show was called 'SUPER SUNDAY' and was the first time he heard DRUM+BASS music. He hit record on the tape deck and that was it...he was hooked.

Fast forward a few years, and MYSTIC TRIP's enamoration with the sounds of D+B led him into the studio to produce his own unique take on the fast-paced electronic music genre. After a countless hours honing his craft, he unleashed a number of strong releases on high profile imprints such as CELSIUS, FLIGHT PATTERN, FOKUZ, INFLUENZA, LIQUID FLAVOURS, SHEER VELOCITY, and SOUL DEEP. MYSTIC TRIP's signature blend of sublime melodies intertwined with catchy and obscure samples has made him a favorite among some of DRUM+BASS's most revered DJs and tastemakers.

On WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th, STUNNA presents another very special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE radio. In this week's session, we're treated to an exclusive guest mix from producer, promoter, and DJ JAMAL, as he makes his debut appearance on the program.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA-based artist JAMAL began honing his skills behind the decks in the late 90's and quickly became a crowd favorite in the burgeoning SF DRUM+BASS music scene. Then, at only 19 years old, JAMAL found himself in the ranks with the D+B pioneers and future innovators. This lead to him having multiple, simultaneous residencies, exposing him to the most cutting edge artists and sounds, and helped to shape and define his taste-making abilities.

As his DJ career progressed, JAMAL also threw his hat into the production ring. Fine-tuning his beatmaking craft, he began churning out a number of high quality releases on a slew of revered global imprints. Solo offerings and collaborations with the likes of GRIDLOK, BACHELORS OF SCIENCE, QUADRANT, ADRED, BEN SOUNDSCAPE, and Jo-S have seen daylight over the years on labels such as METALHEADZ, CODE RECORDINGS, DISPATCH, COMMERCIAL SUICIDE, HOSPITAL RECORDS, PROJECT 51, SOUL DEEP, ONSET AUDIO, THE DNB GUILD, SUBLIFE RECORDINGS and FORMATION RECORDS.

Multi-tasking between producing tracks and a demanding DJ schedule, JAMAL has also found time to establish the highly regarded 'STAMINA SUNDAYS' weekly event at the F8 nightclub in the heart of SAN FRANCISCO. Racking up over 400 events since its launch in 2011, 'STAMINA SUNDAYS' has offered free shows and international headliners weekly, alongside a cast of seasoned residents over the years including GRIDLOK, METHOD ONE, FLACO, SUBMORPHICS, COLONEL MC, MC TELL, and JAMAL himself. The DRUM+BASS community is eagerly awaiting the return of 'STAMINA SUNDAYS', which has been on hold since the start of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
