On WEDNESDAY, JULY 22nd, STUNNA moves deeper into the month of broadcasts in 'THE GREENROOM' BASSDRIVE radio and welcomes versatile DJ and producer SOUNDTEK back to the program for an exclusive guest mix.
SOUNDTEK (formerly known as SOUND ARKITEK) is a CHICAGO-based selector with a 25-year legacy of blurring lines between genres. Beginning his journey at 14 years old as a HIP-HOP DJ, he began playing school dances, house parties, and raves before cutting his teeth at CHICAGO institution SMARTBAR, with the monthly "BASSWEIGHT" event, and on UK's Sub FM, while opening for legends like LTJ BUKEM, JAMES BLAKE, COKI, and YOUNGSTA.
Known for his high-energy, open format style, SOUNDTEK currently holds residency at BLIND BARBER for the weekly "SOUNDTEK TUESDAYS" and runs the hit Saturday night party "TASTE" at THE REVEL ROOM, where he blends HIP-HOP, INDIE, remixes, edits, and anything else that features his personal taste in music. Forever passionate about dance music, his night "CLUB S**T" is an open-format club music night featuring sounds from across the UK dance and U.S. club music spectrum, and is a monthly event every first Friday at THE WHISTLER.
Beyond live gigs, SOUNDTEK regularly posts studio sets on SOUNDCLOUD and hosts a monthly DRUM+BASS show on LONDON's SUBTLE RADIO, while producing tracks that having been gaining heavy global support as of late. In 2026, SOUNDTEK continues his evolution, delivering sets where extensive music knowledge meets dance floor energy.
