Known around the BAY AREA DRUM+BASS scene as 'R3M,' MICHAEL REMSON has been making incredible waves in the late night music community since 2000. Known for his infamous 'DYSTOPIA' D+B events with PRIMITVE SCIENCE co-founder ZYKES CHILLY, 'DYSTOPIA' has showcased many of the world's finest DRUM+BASS producers and DJs over the last 13 years.
The OAKLAND native has played for some of the biggest events and production companies NORTHERN CALIFORNIA has hosted, including LOVE FEST aka LovEvolution, STAMINA SUNDAYS, OPEL PRODUCTIONS, SHELTER, OUTLET, 916 JUNGLIST, BASSMINT, MOMNTM, SLT DNB, RHYTHMIC REMEDIES, and countless more. A multifaceted performer with the ability to take dance floors on audio journeys, R3M is no novice to utilizing multiple decks and several sub genres ranging from futuristic NEUROFUNK to soulful LIQUID FUNK, and a splash of RAGGA JUNGLE for good measure.
