On WEDNESDAY, MAY 13th, STUNNA presents another special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's edition, STUNNA welcomes back CHICAGO-based DJ, producer, and founder of the DnBiD crew: RENAN for an exclusive guest mix on his birthday.
Beginning his career in the world of JUNGLE and DRUM+BASS music back in 1994, RENAN (aka ERIK CEVALLOS) has continued to build his reputation both behind the decks and behind the scenes by promoting events around the CHICAGO area as well as co-founding the multi-service recording facility S.O.S. STUDIOS in 2011. Establishing an allegiance with like-minded local selectors, RENAN has curated the DNBiD crew in the form of various events, in-person and online, such as 'BASS RIOT,' 'RAGGAMUFFIN,' 'REFORM,' 'FUTR SOURCE,' and most recently, 'JUNGLE GOT SOUL' (a series of shows featuring both local and international acts at the NIGHTHAWK and EPIPHANY CENTER FOR THE ARTS venues). With a number of new original tracks and collaborative studio efforts in the works, RENAN continues to spread his sound to listeners worlwide.
