Beginning his career in the world of JUNGLE and DRUM+BASS music back in 1994, RENAN (aka ERIK CEVALLOS) has continued to build his reputation both behind the decks and behind the scenes by promoting events around the CHICAGO area as well as co-founding the multi-service recording facility S.O.S. STUDIOS in 2011. Establishing an allegiance with like-minded local selectors, RENAN has curated the DNBiD crew in the form of various events, in-person and online, such as 'BASS RIOT,' 'RAGGAMUFFIN,' 'REFORM,' 'FUTR SOURCE,' and most recently, 'JUNGLE GOT SOUL,' a series of daytime outdoor events at NIGHTHAWK on the city's northwest side. With a number of events also planned and upcoming at the beautiful EPIPHANY CENTER FOR THE ARTS, the DnBiD crew is helping to keep CHICAGO's vibrant DRUM+BASS music scene moving forward. With a number of new original tracks and collaborative studio efforts in the works, RENAN continues to spread his sound to listeners worlwide.

DENVER, COLORADO-based DRUM+BASS production/DJ outfit MEDICATED DRUMS consists of ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE aka AL7M3D (JASON) and BORROWED DRUMS (JEFF). Both artists have a long history in the stateside scence, and when the pair initially linked up in 2019, they discovered their mutual agreement in mixing styles and musical tastes. This, in turn, led them to team up for a number of back to back DJ sets, as well as join forces as a formidale production pair in the studio domain.

Their debut DRUM+BASS release as a duo, entitled the 'BASS THUG' EP, recently dropped worldwide courtesy of the burgeoning JUNGLE TINGS AUDIO imprint, and is currently doing the rounds worldwide by many of the scene's top selectors. BIRMINGHAM, UK-based DRUM+BASS artist TEKNICAL (aka CORY O'HAGAN) initially launched his career in music at the age of 13, DJing with his father, TONY SHAPE, and began producing music at age 16. He had his first song released shortly after his 18th birthday on VANDAL RECORDS with the track "SWITCH" on the various artist 'RAW CUTS VOL. 4' EP. RICHMOND, VIRGINA-bassed DRUM+BASS DJ JOANNA O. (aka JOANNA OREMLAND) has been mixing music for ravers since 1998. As a seasoned sselector and curator of quality music, her sound can best be described as soulful, liquid vibes, with a hint of jungle flavors. She prefers to “speak with her hands” by mixing well.

Her store, TURNSTYLE, an all vinyl record store and street wear clothing boutique, held down VIRGINIA’s capital city RICHMOND from 2003 to 2016, with the freshest selections. Her FM radio residency 'FREQUENCY' airs weekly on SATURDAY nights on WRIR 97.3FM. The show has been a staple on the airwaves in RICHMOND since 2005. As an event promoter, she has worked tirelessly to support the community of DJs, performers, and dancers at some of the EAST COAST’s most renowned dance music venues and events. As a DJ, anyone who’s ever been on her dance floors can attest that her sets have always been pure fire.

Over the last two decades, her hard-earned mixing skills and supreme selections have earned her slots alongside many of today’s most inspiring DRUM+BASS artists. JOANNA delivers a true voyage in sound that covers the full scope of DRUM+BASS. In this week's edition, we're treated to an all-original production guest mix from prolific artist ANALIAS / SEVENTH HEAVEN as he makes his debut appearance in support of his recently launched FREQUENT DELIRIUM RECORDINGS imprint.

ANALIAS / SEVENTH HEAVEN is a UK-based artist that began his journey into the production world of electronic music over a decade ago. Originally dabbling in a vast array of slower tempos and genres, 2018 saw the producer begin to experiment with sounds in the 164 beats per minute territory. After unleashing a number of self-produced tapes of his productions, in early 2023, ANALIAS released tracks on TORONTO-based label THE LEE GARDEN HISTORICAL PRESERVATION SOCIETY (helmed by GREMLINZ, JESTA, and LUSH) in form of the 'FALLING FALLING FALLING' EP.

Also earlier in 2023, he launched the FREQUENT DELIRIUM RECORDINGS label, an outlet for his more organic productions under the SEVENTH HEAVEN alias. His most recent offering for the imprint, entitled the 'CROSSING BORDERS' EP, highlights some of SEVENTH HEAVEN's best work to date, as he continues to hone his production acumen in the studio domain.

UK-based DJ ChRiStAL (aka CHRIS AU) is the co-owner of prominent DRUM+BASS label SMOOTH N GROOVE RECORDS, alongside U.S.-based CLEN. The imprint is based out of NORTHAMPTON, UK and WASHINGTON, D.C., respectively.

Initially launching in MAY 2016 with their debut release, in form of JRUMHAND's 'BEACHES + COUNTRYSIDE' EP, SMOOTH N GROOVE RECORDS quickly became a revered imprint, dedicated to bringing atmospheric, funky, soulful, and rolling vibes from the best in the scene to the ears of all listeners worldwide. Since its conception, SMOOTH N GROOVE RECORDS has established a respectable place within the scene, with full support from its peers and an ever-growing fan base.

In addition to his work on the administrative side of the label, since 2018, ChRiStAL has been running a DRUM+BASS club night alongside SOUL DEEP RECRODINGS' head honcho SCOTT ALLEN,, CLEN and JOHN CROSSLAND (AKA SoulStructure. On WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 8th, STUNNA hosts another special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's edition, we're treated to a return visit from established producer and DJ JazzInspired, as he unveils a brand new guest mix during the broadcast.

Originating in HOUSTON, TEXAS, and now based in AUSTIN, JazzInspired has been making waves as a rising DRUM+BASS talent. His journey began in the early '90s when he was introduced to the underground warehouse scene; a period that forever transformed his life. Originally adopting the moniker DJ SOULTRAIN, JazzInspired initially performed at local clubs and venues before performing in 1999 at the one of the largest parties HOUSTON had ever hosted.

In 2000, JazzInspired began producing music under a new persona: DazRight. During this time, he had the opportunity to present a demo to LTJ BUKEM before a gig in HOUSTON. Although it didn't lead to him getting signed on GOOD LOOKING RECORDS, BUKEM encouraged JazzInspired via AOL instant messenger to continue honing his craft.

After a nearly decade-long hiatus due to unforeseen life events, JazzInspired rekindled his passion for music in 2019. Within a short amount of time, he reestablished himself as an artist and started delivering unique sounds influenced by JAZZ, SOUL, JUNGLE, DUB, REGGAE, and various other eclectic genres. As JazzInspired's journey continues to unfold, fans can eagerly anticipate more extraordinary music from this artist.

Mainly associated with the atmospheric LIQUID side of DRUM + BASS, UK-based artist DAN GUIDANCE (aka DAN GUY) takes his musical influences from all over the spectrum, and it definitely shows in his productions. Seamlessly blending the sounds of JAZZ, DUB, SKA, TECHNO, HOUSE and WORLD music, DAN's DRUM + BASS tracks are an amalgamation of a life spent appreciating and studying various forms of music across the globe.

Hailing from a small town in WALES, but dreaming on a grand scale, DAN found his calling in the boundless universe of DRUM + BASS music. What began as a teenage fascination quickly transformed into an all-encompassing journey, as he delved into the intricacies of production and the art of DJing. As his skills developed, DAN's unique approach to merging ambient, ethereal elements with the high-energy drive of DRUM + BASS began to set him apart. His sound can be best described as an emotive symphony woven into the fabric of electronic beats. DAN's tracks possess an ethereal quality that transports listeners to otherworldly landscapes, evoking a range of emotions that can only be elicited through music. From the delicate rustle of leaves to the rumble of interstellar travel, his compositions resonate with a deep sense of connection to both the terrestrial and the cosmic.

DAN had his first release in the summer of 2011, with the ‘INTROSPECTION’ EP. Following this, he released an impressive catalog of D+B classics with top labels in the scene. such as TECHNIQUE, FOKUZ, and FLIGHT PATTERN RECORDINGS. With heavy support of his productions from BBC RADIO, BASSDRIVE RADIO, and top selectors such as LONDON ELEKTRICITY and BENNY V, DAN’s music has consistently found itself on some of the top D+B SPOTIFY playlists like HOSPITAL RECORDS' "DRUM + BASS FRESH SELECTIONS" and the 1 MORE THING "THE FRESHEST DRUM + BASS," and YOUTUBE channels like SKANKANDBASS, LIQUIDDNBFTW, and LEDGE SOUNDS. Over the years, DAN has teamed up on production duties with artists such as MATT VIEW, MARVEL CINEMA, FISHY, mSdoS, ALPHA RHYTHM, ALEYUM, and ALEX BARTON. He's also had his tracks remixed by the likes of ZERO T, RANDOM MOVEMENT, and SEATHASKY.

This past OCTOBER 2023 saw the launch of DAN's brand new PORTAL RECORDINGS label, an imprint established to release his blend of deep, melodic and atmospheric LIQUID/DRUM + BASS music. With the debut 'ENTRANCE' EP from DAN himself, the imprint will mainly feature his solo music, but there will be some exciting collaborations and remixes in the foreseeable future.

On WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 18th, STUNNA moves deeper into the month of broadcasts in 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. During this week's installment, we're treated to an exclusive guest mix from seasoned DJ and tastemaker RONIN, the man behind the highly lauded AGN7 Audio label.

RONIN (aka AAREN ALSERI) has been a steadfast DETROIT, MICHIGAN area JUNGLE/DRUM+BASS DJ since 1997. He is the owner of the experimental DRUMFUNK/HALFTIME label, AGN7 Audio. After performing at the first inaugural DETROIT EELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTICAL (DEMF), he has been booked by PAXAHAU at MOVEMENT several times to represent the more aggressive and techier style of D+B. Reaching thousands of listeners worldwide as a resident DJ on BASSDRIVE Radio for 11 years, and discovering new music and artists, he has also organized and coordinated the most successful JUNGLE/D+B events in MICHIGAN, such as KONKRETE JUNGLE DETROIT.

With over 30 releases to date, his AGN7 Audio imprint spans many styles of D+B, with the common element of adventurous vibes. The music is timeless, often nostalgic, and intended to be played with old and new releases. Forthcoming offerings before the end of 2023 include AHMAD's "THE SHAMAN" EP, OPIUS' "PLANET JAZZ" vinyl release, and DACAMERA's "THE SUBTLE ART" album. 2024 will see a remix album of "THE SUBTLE ART," with reinterpretations from PROFANE, OPIUS, DUBURBAN, KJELL ANDERSON, CALCULON + STUNNA. You can also expect further exploration into releases and beats that will bridge the gap between DRUMFUNK and HALFTIME, as well as various tempos.

RONIN is currently working towards new DRUM+BASS themed nights in the DETROIT area. "SOLID-STATE" at SPKRBX, with LAZARUS, BEATNOK and CRAIG GONZALEZ on OCTOBER 19th will showcase new and seasoned talent on a proper soundsystem, playing experimental tracks and other weird beats that aren't commonly played at events. Other upcoming collaborations include working with the LIQUID DANCEHALL SOUNDSYSTEM, IMPULSE DETROIT, and THAT team, presenting SPINSCOTT and MISTER SHIFTER on NOVEMBER 18th.

Since his birth in 1994, BRAZILIAN-based artist nCAMARGO (aka NICOLAS CAMARGO) has surrounded himself with a vast array of musical influences. Discovering a focused interest in electronic music in 2000, a few years of development and exposure would lead him toward a genre that fascinated him: DRUM+BASS music. Being an avid listener of BASSDRIVE Radio around the year 2009 would eventually lead to his entrance to the D+B production ring in 2010.

Tastefully creating a discography of finely-tuned, polished productions, nCAMARGO has developed his own unique sound and turned a lot of discerning heads his way over the years. With successful offerings for high-profile labels such as AGN7 AUDIO, CELSIUS, CHRONIC, FOKUZ, LIQUID DROPS, LUNAR RECORDS, OFFWORLD, PRESTIGE MUSIC, SOUL DEEP, V RECORDINGS, and WEAPONS OF CHOICE, nCAMARGO moves strength to strength in 2023 with a number of quality releases on his own NCOUNTER MUSIC imprint. Since co-founding the original RANDOM MOVEMENT duo in 2002 with close friend MIKE RICHARDS, MISTER SHIFTER (aka JACK SHEETS) has been a tastemaker of JUNGLE and DRUM + BASS music for over two decades. The early years were spent co-producing music on celebrated labels such as BASSBIN, INNERGROUND RECORDS, TIMELESS RECORDINGS, and BREAKBEAT SCIENCE sister-label ORGONE. RANDOM MOVEMENT’s breakout single "STARS IN THE DARK" propelled the duo into the international spotlight, garnering heavy support from the world's biggest DJs. Later emerging as a solo artist, MISTER SHIFTER landed his debut release on FANU’s LIGHTLESS RECORDINGS in 2015.
