Closing out the month of MAY 2017, on WEDNESDAY the 31st, STUNNA presents yet another very special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's program, we're graced by a guest mix from upcoming DJ and producer on the rise: CHRIS CAUSE.

Hailing from beautiful MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, CHRIS CAUSE began his DJ career after a college classmate introduced him to the sounds of DRUM+BASS music in 2007. He picked up his first pair of TECHNICS decks and got to work playing local club nights, raves, and eventually, performing on a regional level. A city rich in D+B history and culture, MINNEAPOLIS proved to be a great avenue for CHRIS to nurture his budding talent. In 2012, he began a residency at the 'RELOAD: MINNEAPOLIS' series of club events where he honed his DJ skills and gained a deeper understanding of dance floor dynamics. In this coveted role, he was able to meet international acts which, in turn, inspired him to start producing his own music.

After a run of successful DJ gigs, including a spot in the revered DJ competition at the 2014 edition of the SUN AND BASS festival in sunny SARDINIA, ITALY, 2016 saw CHRIS temporarily hang up his headphones and focus solely on production. After a year of hard work and late nights in the studio, CHRIS released his 'ENDGAME' EP in January. February 2017 saw him unleash two soulful, summertime LIQUID tracks in form of "SONAR" and "SAINT PAUL," which have both set the tone for his future sound. Currently, you can pick up a brand new release from CHRIS and fellow MINNEAPOLIS resident ECHTOO on their offering for NOTION's CLEAR CONCEPTIONS imprint. Now, more focused and determined than ever, CHRIS is returning to the DJ booth to bring his new, refined sound to the dance floor.

On WEDNESDAY, MAY 17, 2017, STUNNA presents a very special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's program, we're treated to an exclusive guest mix from the talented producer and DJ known as HUMANATURE.

PORTUGUESE DRUM+BASS artist HUMANATURE (aka ANDRE SOARES) moved to the UNITED STATES with his parents at an early age. At the age of 18, he entered the music production arena, mainly influenced by the LIQUID FUNK D+B movement. In 2014, HUMANATURE moved to PORTO, returning to his native land to nurture his pursuit of a career in the DRUM+BASS world.

After a few years hard at work in the studio, and despite his young age, HUMANATURE has already accumulated an impressive number of releases under his belt. Notably included among these, a collaboration alongside fellow producers SKELETONE + SILENCE GROOVE, was released on 12" vinyl courtesy of the DUTCH-based FOKUZ RECORDINGS label. Continuing to work closely with the FOKUZ camp, HUMANATURE has inked more upcoming tracks to the revered imprint.

Besides performing live in the USA and PORTUGAL, HUMANATURE's talents have landed him shows in SPAIN, CZECH REPUBLIC and in the UK alongside artists such as MARCUS INTALEX, MAKOTO, LENZMAN, ETHERWOOD, SEBA, NAIBU, INSIDE INFO, BLU MAR TEH, GERRA + STONE, SKELETONE, SILENCE GROOVE, LIZ-E, DAVE OWEN, CALCULON, PIXEL, BASS BROTHERS and many others. MEXICO CITY-based MUKIYARE (aka GUILLERMO FERNANDEZ) originally began his musical training as a guitarist performing in several groups before moving behind the turntables in 2001. Honing his acumen behind the decks during these formative years as an electronic music follower, MUKIYARE became enamored with the deeper, jazzier and more soulful sounds that would eventually combine to form the foundation of his own productions. As a producer, MUKIYARE has had a busy career thus far. With impeccable tracks released digitally on imprints such as ANTICLOCKWISE, BLU SAPHIR, CELSIUS, INFORM, IRIDESCENT, LIQUID DROPS, SHAOLIN AUDIO, SOUL DEEP, and VIBE INC, in 2015, MUKIYARE teamed up with 'GREENROOM' favorite JOAKUIM for GUILLERMO's first vinyl offering, in form of a track entitled 'HIGHWAY GROOVE.' This was truly a personal achievement in his budding career, and since then, MUKIYARE has been moving strength to strength as a versatile producer and working DJ. Since his birth in 1994, BRAZILIAN-based nCAMARGO (aka NICOLAS CAMARGO) has surrounded himself with a vast array of musical influences. Discovering a focused interest in electronic music in 2000, a few years of development and exposure would lead him toward a genre that fascinated him: DRUM+BASS music. Being an avid listener of BASSDRIVE Radio around the year 2009 would eventually lead to his entrance to the D+B production ring in 2010.

With a burgeoning discography of finely-tuned, polished productions, nCAMARGO has developed his own sound in the past seven years and turned a lot of discerning heads his way during the process. Highly regarded releases on labels such as SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS and CELSIUS RECORDINGS gave him the confidence and drive to launch his own NCOUNTER MUSIC imprint in 2016. DENVER, COLORADO is the home of D+B duo GORETEKS (aka TYLER SCHRODER and TRACY STRODE). For nearly 20 years, they’ve been playing their favorite brands of DRUM+BASS across the state, originally as DJs BALOO and STRODE. The pair first met at college shortly after the turn of the millennium, and dropped many a record for several years before starting production and getting their first release in 2010. Influenced by dark masters like TECH ITCH, DOM + ROLAND, and B KEY, GORETEKS has been busy in the studio and spread their production efforts across many labels over the past few years. They’ve seen releases on Stateside imprints such as PLUSH, FREE LOVE DIGI, NOISYDRUMS and SECTION 8. Their finely-crafted tracks have graced UK labels ARCHITECTURE, 117, OMNI MUSIC, and LOGICAL DIRECTION, as well as revered EU imprints EASTERN PROMISE, MONOCHROME RECORDINGS, and many others. A vinyl release in 2017 is the next goal this exciting duo is aiming to fulfill.
