R-MONIX (aka STEVIE RATCLIFFE) hails from the beautiful seaside shores of BANGOR, NORTHERN IRELAND. His many years appreciating a myriad of different musical genres formed his own unique take once he began to produce DRUM+BASS. Drawing upon these many influences assisted R-MONIX to create his own sound: a uniquely balanced mix of LIQUID FUNK and ATMOSPHERIC D+B. His uplifting and euphoric tracks have gained attention and positive support from scene luminaries such as GROOVERIDER, DUO INFERNALE, SAVAGE REHAB, PHYSICS, and LM1, and have received airplay on BBC Radio 1, 1xtra, and numerous internet radio outlets. With successful releases on the SOUL DEEP RECORDINGS, OFFWORLD RECORDINGS, and EQUINOX SOUNDS imprints, 2017 marks the monumental tenth year of R-MONIX as a producer in the fast-paced world of DRUM+BASS.

Established in 2011, the PARAMOUNT music partnership between DRUM+BASS enthusiasts SILVIO PERANO and PAUL PARISH was born from the local underground LONDON music scene where the pair's love for deep, soulful beats solidified their production foundation. Yearning to promote and nourish local DJ talent, the duo founded the club night 'Inter:Act' where many successful events played host to headline artists such as FOREIGN CONCEPT, KRAKOTA, and SCRIPT, earring the duo recognition and further driving their ambition to produce exciting new material as PARAMOUNT. Over these formative years, the young pair worked diligently on their DJ skills and could be found performing at HERTFORDSHIRE club events 'LIQUID SOUL' and 'MASTERPLAN.' 2013 proved to be a successful year for PARAMOUNT, with shows on the 'EXIT' stage at the FARR FESTIVAL and a 'LIFTED RECORDS' night at the sadly now-shuttered CABLE in LONDON. Honing their production during these formative years, the duo curated their signature style stemming from a passion for deep, emotive dance floor music on the soulful side of D+B. Strongly influenced by the music and ethos of producers such as CALIBRE, dBridge, MUTT, and ALIX PEREZ, PARAMOUNT has carved an impressive discography for the likes of BROKEN AUDIO, FOKUZ RECORDINGS, CELSIUS RECORDINGS, and INFLUENZA MEDIA, and is in the midst of producing an album alongside many other exciting projects on the horizon.

Closing out the month of MAY 2017, on WEDNESDAY the 31st, STUNNA presents yet another very special installment of 'THE GREENROOM' on BASSDRIVE Radio. In this week's program, we're graced by a guest mix from upcoming DJ and producer on the rise: CHRIS CAUSE.

Hailing from beautiful MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, CHRIS CAUSE began his DJ career after a college classmate introduced him to the sounds of DRUM+BASS music in 2007. He picked up his first pair of TECHNICS decks and got to work playing local club nights, raves, and eventually, performing on a regional level. A city rich in D+B history and culture, MINNEAPOLIS proved to be a great avenue for CHRIS to nurture his budding talent. In 2012, he began a residency at the 'RELOAD: MINNEAPOLIS' series of club events where he honed his DJ skills and gained a deeper understanding of dance floor dynamics. In this coveted role, he was able to meet international acts which, in turn, inspired him to start producing his own music.

After a run of successful DJ gigs, including a spot in the revered DJ competition at the 2014 edition of the SUN AND BASS festival in sunny SARDINIA, ITALY, 2016 saw CHRIS temporarily hang up his headphones and focus solely on production. After a year of hard work and late nights in the studio, CHRIS released his 'ENDGAME' EP in January. February 2017 saw him unleash two soulful, summertime LIQUID tracks in form of "SONAR" and "SAINT PAUL," which have both set the tone for his future sound. Currently, you can pick up a brand new release from CHRIS and fellow MINNEAPOLIS resident ECHTOO on their offering for NOTION's CLEAR CONCEPTIONS imprint. Now, more focused and determined than ever, CHRIS is returning to the DJ booth to bring his new, refined sound to the dance floor.

PORTUGUESE DRUM+BASS artist HUMANATURE (aka ANDRE SOARES) moved to the UNITED STATES with his parents at an early age. At the age of 18, he entered the music production arena, mainly influenced by the LIQUID FUNK D+B movement. In 2014, HUMANATURE moved to PORTO, returning to his native land to nurture his pursuit of a career in the DRUM+BASS world.

After a few years hard at work in the studio, and despite his young age, HUMANATURE has already accumulated an impressive number of releases under his belt. Notably included among these, a collaboration alongside fellow producers SKELETONE + SILENCE GROOVE, was released on 12" vinyl courtesy of the DUTCH-based FOKUZ RECORDINGS label. Continuing to work closely with the FOKUZ camp, HUMANATURE has inked more upcoming tracks to the revered imprint.

Besides performing live in the USA and PORTUGAL, HUMANATURE's talents have landed him shows in SPAIN, CZECH REPUBLIC and in the UK alongside artists such as MARCUS INTALEX, MAKOTO, LENZMAN, ETHERWOOD, SEBA, NAIBU, INSIDE INFO, BLU MAR TEH, GERRA + STONE, SKELETONE, SILENCE GROOVE, LIZ-E, DAVE OWEN, CALCULON, PIXEL, BASS BROTHERS and many others.
