Moving strength to strength, firmly placing Miami, Florida on the worldwide Drum+Bass map, this week URBAN CHEMISTRY RECORDINGS launches its 11th release, unleashes a hot new guest studio mix, and also offers up a tasty FREE track to download. It's definitely a big week for the UCR/FUSION crew as they gear-up for the Winter Music Conference season just around the corner. Here's the rundown.....
UCR 011: BROKEN DRUM - "STOLEN LOVE" / "MIDNIGHT HOUR"
"For our second release in 2010, we bring a fresh new perspective from three upcoming producers collectively known as 'BROKEN DRUM'. The UK crew: EUAN, LOUIS, and BARRIE offer 2 equally solid productions for the new single. The first cut, "STOLEN LOVE", is a finely-crafted piece of dancefloor funk, smoldering with an infectious, smooth soul sound. A catchy vocal hook and filtered piano bring back old school feelings coupled with a new style vibe. The second cut, "MIDNIGHT HOUR", keeps the groove running with a soothing female vocal hook carrying you alongside bouncy drums and an infectious stab-style bass riff.
